3-dimensional stereo sounds of vintage acoustic Martin guitars. These fine
instruments (bass, 6 & 12 string) have been made by hand in
Pennsylvania since 1833 and are an inherent part of the American folk
music tradition. Coupled with Thinley's spare, intimate vocal style, the
songs bring a fresh and disarming honesty to the world of popular music.
Stir in some sweet percussion, reeds (harmonicas and concertina) and pipe
organ, and you have a very tasty acoustic mix that is truly easy on the
